2008 is already turning into a big year for the Geoff Thomas Foundation.
In April, Geoff swapped his bike for a pair of running shoes and completed his first ever Marathon - in London.
Now, the New York Marathon is beckoning in November as part of his on-going fund raising plans.
Not that Geoff, who rode the Tour de France routes in 2005 and 2007 to raise money and awareness for the GTF, has given up on cycling.
He rode against England national team rugby coach Martin Johnson in a hugely successful and enjoyable Italian Pursuit race at the Manchester Revolution on the track in February.
And he will also lead a GTF team in the London to Paris bike ride in June.
The GTF will also benefit from two fantastic, mass participation rides that are taking place in Nottingham and Salford this summer.
The Great Notts Bike Ride takes place on Sunday June 22 with the Great Salford Bike Ride following on Sunday August 31.
On top of that there are also other events in the pipeline which we will of course announce as soon as possible.
If Geoff's commitments inspire you to get fundraising then please visit the donate section of this site to see how you can set up your online fundraising page or please get behind Geoff by making a donation.
